The Autumn ground shipping window is open in much of the country now. When you order we will confirm that the weather is ideal for shipping and if we still need to hold your order due to heat we will let you know.

We’re honored to be a part of such an amazing food and wine community. One of our favorite things to do is to pair up with our friends and charities for special events around town and abroad. Never underestimate the impact of a good party with great food and wine!

And sometimes we also have the good fortune to get shoutouts from the press. You’ll find those here as well.


a visit to Four Winds vineyard, August 2018

Progress is looking great at Four Winds. We're mostly through color change, but there is still a little ways to go. Best guess is that we'll be harvesting the last week of September--right in the pocket!

Here's a shot of our new block of Draper Chardonnay and it looks absolutely fantastic. This will be our first harvest bringing in that fruit and we are VERY excited!

This is the old-vine Wente that you know and love. Man, that clone loves to hang fruit! Looks like it's about time to do some thinning. 

 

This venerable oak that greets you on the way up to block 9 on the Western side of the vineyard. Not a bad view from up there!

 

This last shot gives you a nice view of the slope of the rows along with the Coast Range hills in the background. Four Winds is up there at 850'-900' elevation. That's why it's our last pick every year and still has great acidity!

We'll be pouring our 2 favorite releases and giving some of out first 2018 harvest predictions. Grab a glass and stay for dinner. It's always a great evening!

Andrew Turner has quite the impressive shop! If you've never been there you need to come to this tasting. A) so you can check out his selection:  vintage, vintage wines from many Oregon pioneers, rad Burgundy and some seriously cool bubbly! B) we're going to run the whole 2016 Single Vineyard lineup for a test drive! C) It'll be harvest, so we'll be ready to unwind!!

CELEBRATE PARK KITCHEN'S 15TH ANNIVERSARY SATURDAY, AUGUST 25TH FROM 5-8:30PM 

This super special event will take place at one of Park Kitchen's favorite partner farms...Your Kitchen Garden in Canby.
Cocktails and reception start at 5:00pm, followed by a brief tour of the farm led by farmer Sheldon himself! The main event is a full, seated chef's supper, served family-style beside the fields, with Tyson Crowley himself pouring some great wines to pair up with Chef Scott Dolich and crew's amazing food straight off the farm!

GET YOUR ROSE ON! SATURDAY, APRIL 21ST AT THE WINERY FROM 1PM-4PM

When we started making Rosé a few years ago we never imagined it would turn into such a force of nature. We just thought we'd be making a delightful summer wine to pop with friends on the patio. Since everyone's been asking where and when they can grab theirs we have decided to throw a party at the winery. You're all invited! Come by the winery Saturday, April 21st from 1pm-4pm to taste the 2017 Rosé along with the rest of the Spring wines. This is our annual post-harvest blowout party at the winery. It will run from 1Pm-5pm. Wine will flow, the whole crew will be there, and of course we'll have soup! TWO SEATINGS AT HOW TO COOK A WOLF WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH

We've been waiting a long time to make this happen! Harvest Dinner will be served family style by Chef Nicole Matson and we'll be there to pair wines with! How to Cook a Wolf is at 2208 Queen Anne Ave North, Seattle WA. There are two Seatings for the dinner:  5:30 (For folks working on Thursday morning) and 8:30 (For Industry folks or those not needing an early start on Thursday). Once agian it's time for our annual post-harvest celebration with our freinds at Jk Carriere and Beckham Estate. This year it falls on Saturday, November 4th from 6pm-9pm. Crown Paella will be serving up their magic and Wolves & People will be there sharing there farmhouse beers too! The price is $75 or $65 for club members. Follow this link for tickets. sturgeon moonrise dinner with tournant at the suttle lodge August 7th

If you haven't yet stayed at the Suttle Lodge this is your chance. This recently renovated mid-century lodge is nestled on Suttle Lake, in the Deschutes National Forest near Sisters Oregon. Mona Johnson and Jaret Foster of Tournant will create a live fire dinner, paired with our wines to Coincide with August's full "Sturgeon Moonrise" (traditionally the best time to harvest Sturgeon!) Dinner will be served on the Boathouse dock right by the lake. This is going to be a super special event so we're digging deep into the library for some of our favorite vintages. Don't miss it!
