We’re honored to be a part of such an amazing food and wine community. One of our favorite things to do is to pair up with our friends and charities for special events around town and abroad. Never underestimate the power of a good party with great food and wine.

And sometimes we also have the good fortune to get some good ink or what the kids these days call shoutouts from the press. You’ll find those here as well.


What's new at crowley? More Chardonnay coming your way!!

We're excited to announce that the first stage of our grafting project up at the Four Winds Vineyard is finished! In all we converted 1.4 acres of Dijon Pinot over to Heritage Clone Chardonnay, mostly Draper and Wente. That means more Chardonnay in your glass very soon! Click here for a video of the grafting process--it's deceptively simple, but takes a ton of skill and experience. We left that part to the experts, but worked hard on all the post care for the vines and it appears to have really paid off. Very close to 100% of the grafts are successful! On the left is a shot from mid-June. Looking healthly! On the right is August 15th. Bonafide clusters!!

These vines should be up to full production by the 2018 harvest so all of you Chard fans out there can stock your cellar! As of August 15th it's looking like a 3-year-old bock of vines...and it's almost time for it's first haircut!

sturgeon moonrise dinner with tournant at the suttle lodge August 7th

If you haven't yet stayed at the Suttle Lodge this is your chance. This recently renovated mid-century lodge is nestled on Suttle Lake, in the Deschutes National Forest near Sisters Oregon. Mona Johnson and Jaret Foster of Tournant will create a live fire dinner, paired with our wines to Coincide with August's full "Sturgeon Moonrise" (traditionally the best time to harvest Sturgeon!) Dinner will be served on the Boathouse dock right by the lake. This is going to be a super special event so we're digging deep into the library for some of our favorite vintages. Don't miss it! The Winemaker's Dinner at MiNGO Beaverton is back on! Tyson will be there to host and show off some of our current wines as well as several library gems. The MiNGO team puts on some of the best dinners around, always seasonally inspired and adventurous. With just 25 seats we expect it to fill up quickly.
